Description of project
Re-using steel structure from first prototype, with addition of curved metal roof, trampoline floors, different walls and plan.
Date of Construction
Sloping site, Curved metal roof, and trampoline floors, various wall claddings.
Steel tubes, probably oil pipe, Factory prefabricated and welded on site. Roof beams lattice structure to give bracing.
Bamboo and thatch, recycled teak windows and shutters, recycled bottles, printed billboard scenes.
Ground concrete slab and trampoline.
Mezzanine trampoline and 3/4” plywood supported on steel joists attached with cable ties.
Slightly curved corrugated metal with woven bamboo on underside.
Fabric with hydraulic tightener at the center.
This steel structure was disassembled from the Ubud site and shipped to the Bloo Lagoon site for continued testing.
CONCLUSIONS and RECOMMENDATIONS
Thin wall tubular steel has good qualities.
Trampoline floors have great potential.
